Market Manipulation Allegations at Borsa Istanbul: 17 Suspects Detained

According to a report by Anadolu Agency, 17 individuals have been detained on suspicion of market manipulation at Borsa Istanbul. The operation was conducted as a joint effort by the Capital Markets Board (SPK) and security units. The suspects are alleged to have placed buy and sell orders to artificially influence stock prices, thereby obtaining illicit gains. The investigation is said to involve a detailed examination of the manipulative transactions. Authorities emphasized that such actions threatening market integrity are closely monitored and that necessary legal steps are being taken.
