Manipulation Allegations in AVOD Stock: Detention Order for Two Suspects

The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office announced that manipulative activities have been detected in the shares of Avod Kurutulmuş Gıda ve Tarım Ürünleri Sanayi Ticaret AŞ (AVOD), traded on Borsa Istanbul. In a statement, the prosecutor's office said that investigations conducted by the Bureau of Investigation of Terrorism Financing and Money Laundering Crimes identified activities related to market fraud in AVOD stock. According to the statement, within the scope of simultaneous operations in Izmir and Istanbul, detention orders were issued for two suspects, Nazım Torbaoğlu and Burak Kızak. The suspects were referred to judicial authorities on charges of 'market fraud' and 'laundering of assets derived from crime.' The prosecutor's office reported that search and seizure operations are ongoing at the suspects' addresses to identify evidence of the crime.
