JPMorgan Chase’s Harassment Lawsuit Expands: Threats and Sexual Messages Emerge

The harassment lawsuit that has shaken JPMorgan Chase, one of the United States’ largest banks, has become even more complex with new allegations. Senior executive Lorna Hajdini disclosed that, following the public release of the case, she received death threats and sexually explicit harassing messages. Evidence submitted to the court includes a message sent on April 30 that read, “I hope you are gang‑raped and then commit suicide,” and another message containing sexual propositions. The file also contains messages from a person who identified themselves as a “slave” and claimed to be looking for a “master,” addressed to Hajdini. The lawsuit widened further when former JPMorgan employee Chirayu Rana, who filed the claim anonymously, denied the allegations. Rana argued that the accusations were framed around gender inequality, while asserting that Hajdini forced her into a relationship without consent and used racist remarks. Additionally, it emerged that he had demanded more than $20 million in compensation from the bank before the lawsuit. JPMorgan Chase stated that its internal investigation has not found evidence confirming the allegations. Nevertheless, the litigation continues to grow as both parties exchange further accusations.
