Aluminum Giant Patrop Group Goes Bankrupt

Patrop Group, one of Turkey's leading aluminum producers, has gone bankrupt due to rising production costs and cash flow problems. The company had entered a concordat process under high exchange rate pressure but was unable to sustain its operations. Patrop Group was known for its plans to establish two new factories. However, fluctuations in exchange rates and increases in raw material prices negatively impacted the company's financial structure. The contraction in cash flow led to an inability to pay debts. The bankruptcy decision issued by the court stipulates the liquidation of all company assets. This situation serves as a warning for other firms in the sector.
