GSK Acquires US-Based Nuvalent for $10.6 Billion

UK-based multinational pharmaceutical company GSK has reached an agreement to acquire US-based biopharmaceutical company Nuvalent. The total value of the deal has been announced as $10.6 billion. This acquisition is seen as part of GSK's strategy to strengthen its oncology portfolio. Nuvalent is known for its targeted therapies developed particularly for lung cancer and other solid tumors. The company has clinical-stage drug candidates for ROS1 and ALK-positive cancers.
