European Investment Bank Provides EUR 200 Million for Turkey's Green Transformation

The European Investment Bank (EIB) has provided EUR 200 million in financing to support green transformation projects in Turkey. The funds will be allocated to meet the sustainable industrial investments and green financing needs of exporters. EUR 100 million of the financing will be channeled through the Industrial Development Bank of Turkey (TSKB), and the remaining EUR 100 million through Turk Eximbank. This structure will direct resources to both local industrial investments and environmentally friendly projects of exporters. The EIB's funding aims to accelerate investments in energy efficiency, renewable energy, and low-carbon production in line with Turkey's climate goals. In particular, it targets helping exporting companies adapt to the green transition to enhance their competitiveness in international markets. This step is seen as a significant financial support for Turkey's sustainable development journey.
