Aksa Enerji Receives Generation License for Manisa Wind Power Plant with Storage Project

Aksa Enerji has added a new investment in the energy transition. The company announced that it has obtained a generation license from the Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK) for its planned wind power plant (WPP) with storage project in Manisa. The plant to be built under the project will have an installed capacity of 82.16 MWe and 88 MWm. Additionally, an energy storage system with a capacity of 95 MWh will be installed. This aims to store the generated electricity for use when needed. Aksa Enerji's investment aims to contribute to more efficient use of renewable energy sources and grid stability. WPP projects with storage enable more flexible management of intermittent wind energy. The company stated that it will continue such projects without slowing down in line with its vision of leading the energy transition.
