UBS: Turkey Becomes Second in the World in Dollar Millionaire Growth
According to a report published by UBS, one million people globally reached millionaire status in 2025. The report stated that the number of dollar millionaires in Turkey increased by 6.4% to 93,000. With this growth rate, Turkey became the second fastest-growing country in terms of millionaire increase worldwide.
The report reveals that the global rise in the number of millionaires parallels economic growth and the increase in asset prices. The increase in Turkey is attributed to the appreciation of dollar-denominated assets despite the depreciation of the local currency.
UBS data shows that Turkey presents a positive picture for asset holders despite high inflation and exchange rate fluctuations. However, this situation also brings about inequalities in the broader household income distribution.

It is not expected to create a direct change in market direction in the short term, but it may provide a limited positive contribution to investor confidence. On the other hand, it should be noted that these statistics stem from inflation and exchange rate movements, so their impact on market sentiment may remain limited.
