Jefferies Raises ASML and STMicro Targets on European Semiconductor Repricing

Jefferies has revised its price targets for ASML and STMicroelectronics upward, citing expectations of a repricing in the European semiconductor sector. Analysts forecast value appreciation in the shares of these two companies, driven by recovery signals and rising demand expectations in the industry. The investment bank raised its price target for ASML from €1,000 to €1,100, and for STMicro from €50 to €55. Jefferies emphasized that growth in the artificial intelligence and automotive sectors, in particular, will support semiconductor demand. The report noted that current market valuations of European semiconductor companies do not fully reflect positive sector developments. Jefferies therefore stated that the potential for repricing is high and that investors should consider this opportunity. In addition to ASML and STMicro, other European semiconductor companies such as Infineon Technologies are also expected to undergo a similar repricing process.
