Cimsa Begins Electricity Generation from Waste Heat at Its Eskisehir Plant

Cimsa Cimento Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. announced on July 6 via the Public Disclosure Platform that it has commissioned a waste heat-to-electricity generation facility at its Eskisehir plant. This investment is seen as a significant step toward the company's goal of reducing energy costs. The new facility will convert waste heat generated during the production process into electrical energy, meeting part of the plant's energy needs. Through this, Cimsa aims to both lower its operational expenses and contribute to its environmental sustainability targets. Company officials stated that this investment will enhance energy efficiency, reduce the carbon footprint, and positively impact long-term competitiveness.
