Oyak-Renault Launches Striker Production in Bursa

Oyak-Renault has begun production of the Striker model for the Dacia brand at its facility in Bursa, following the production of Clio, Duster, and Boreal models. The company stated that it has become the first brand to produce locally in Turkey with an investment worth 400 million euros. The new production line aims to reduce regional distribution costs thanks to Bursa's strategic location and logistics infrastructure. Oyak-Renault's executive, Marotte, emphasized the strategy of increasing market share and mitigating the impact of exchange rates by stating that 'Turkey will be the hub for Striker.' The investment is considered a significant step in terms of expanding production capacity, creating employment, and integrating the supply chain. The company plans to start operating the new production line at full capacity by early 2025. The financial return on investment will be measured by long-term cost savings and the advantages of local production.
