SK Hynix Q2 Revenue Surges 257%

South Korean semiconductor manufacturer SK Hynix reported its financial results for the second quarter of the year. The company's revenue for the April-June period increased by 257% compared to the same period last year, reaching 79.3 trillion won. This growth was driven by strong demand for memory chips used in global artificial intelligence technologies. SK Hynix also saw a significant improvement in profitability. The company substantially increased its operational profitability due to rising demand for high-bandwidth memory (HBM) products used in AI applications. Investments in data centers and cloud computing were key factors supporting SK Hynix's sales volume. The financial results indicate that the company's AI-focused growth strategy is bearing fruit.
