Enlila Saglik Acquires Majority Stake in US Biotech Firm for $24M

Enlila Saglik, a portfolio company of Is Girisim Sermayesi, which is an affiliate of the Turkiye Is Bankasi Group, has acquired a 50.1% stake in US-based biotechnology company Crescenta Biosciences for $24 million. With this transaction, Enlila has become the majority partner of Crescenta. The acquisition was carried out through a capital increase. Instead of purchasing shares from Crescenta's existing partners, Enlila provided direct capital to the company to obtain the majority stake. This method aims to accelerate Crescenta's access to growth capital. Crescenta Biosciences stands out as a US company operating in the biotechnology field.
