Hyundai Türkiye to Produce 30,000 Electric Vehicles Annually

Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır described the start of mass production of the IONIQ 3 model at Hyundai Türkiye's facility in Kocaeli as a critical turning point in Türkiye's path to becoming a global production hub for electric vehicles and battery technologies. The Minister emphasized that this step will significantly contribute to the transformation of the country's automotive sector. Hyundai Türkiye has made an investment of 250 million euros in this context. The company plans to initially produce 30,000 IONIQ 3 units annually.
