BDDK: Golden Global Investment Bank Shares Transferred to TMSF

The Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BDDK) has decided that the partnership rights belonging to certain shareholders of Golden Global Investment Bank Inc. will be exercised by the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (TMSF). According to the BDDK's decision, the partnership rights other than dividends for the bank's shares, 53.98% owned by Emir Kaya, 32% by Salih Berberoğlu, and 14% by Recep Kaba, will be exercised by the TMSF. This decision means that the management and control authority of the said shareholders in the bank have been transferred to the TMSF. Dividend rights, however, will remain with the shareholders. The TMSF's exercise of partnership rights is considered a measure taken to strengthen the bank's financial structure and protect depositors. Not investment advice.
