SPK Suspends Licenses of 11 Individuals After Reviewing Three Companies' Trading Activities

The Turkish Securities and Exchange Commission (SPK) has decided to suspend the licenses of 11 individuals following an examination of trading activities conducted by three separate companies. The decision was based on findings obtained during the SPK’s routine supervisory processes. During the review, the SPK scrutinized the companies’ transaction records, client agreements, and financial statements in detail. The regulator questioned the compliance of these firms with legal and regulatory frameworks and identified specific deficiencies. As a result, the licenses of 11 persons—including brokers, investment advisers, and financial service providers—were temporarily suspended. The suspension is intended to prevent the affected individuals from continuing market activities, in accordance with the SPK’s statutory authority.
