THY, Boeing Finalise 150-Unit 737 MAX Order Agreement

Turkish Airlines (THY) has officially completed a long‑term growth strategy agreement with Boeing, covering up to 150 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft. The contract, signed in a ceremony attended by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, represents THY’s largest single‑corridor aircraft order to date. Under the terms, 100 Boeing 737‑8 models are confirmed, with an additional 50 737 MAX options included. The options provide THY with flexible capacity expansion for future demand while strengthening its existing flight network. This move is part of THY’s efforts to enhance global competitiveness and accelerate fleet modernization.
