Tesla has decided to gradually halt production of its Cybertruck model starting from mid-2027, following sales that fell short of expectations. With this step, the company plans to reorganize the production line for the model in question. Once Cybertruck production ends at the Texas factory, the freed-up space will be allocated to production of the driverless robotaxi Cybercab. This will mark the beginning of the Cybercab era at the facility. The decision came after Cybertruck sales failed to meet company expectations.
